Pension investment options

As with all super investments, the value of your investments in your pension account may go up or down and each investment option will have a different level of risk and potential return associated with it.

Choose an investment option best suited to the length of time you wish to invest and at a risk level that you are comfortable with. Contact our financial advisers who will be able to assist you with your investment choice.

Default pension investment option

Our default pension investment option is made up of two distinct investment portfolios:

  • Balanced investment option – this includes a mixture of investments that maintain the potential for long-term growth
  • Cash option – this is to meet the shorter-term income needs in retirement

This combined default pension investment option allows you to maintain potential for growth within your pension, yet automatically reduces your exposure to the investment markets over time. Find out how our default pension investment option works.
