Diversity Statement

The Trustee of REI Super believes that the quality of decision making is enhanced by representing a range of views at the board, management and staff levels.  As a result, the Trustee remains dedicated to continuous improvement in diversity and inclusion, while balancing the skills requirements of the business to deliver on our commitment to act in the best financial interests of members, and delivery of the strategy which underpins business operations. 

Currently, the Trustee has an overarching objective of maintaining a balanced approach to representation amongst board members and trustee office-based staff.  On 30 June 2024, the Fund had 43% of positions occupied by females across the board and trustee office, with 33% female representation on the Trustee board. 

The Trustee will continue its commitment to diversity through the annual board performance review process, managing succession planning, and managing the skills requirements of the Fund.
