Have you kept track of all your super?
Australians have lost over $16 billion in super, and if you've ever changed your name, address, job, or done casual or part-time work, there’s a good chance you have multiple accounts and some of that could be yours.
Your super fund reports you as a lost member if they haven’t been able to contact you, have not received any contributions or rollover amounts for the past five years, or your account was transferred from another fund as a lost member account and no new address has been found.
