ACT real estate celebrates 26th anniversary of Awards for Excellence

posted on 24.11.2020

The ACT real estate industry gathered to recognise its major achievements at the REIACT Awards for Excellence event.

The REIACT Awards for Excellence was first established in 1995, and created to recognise and celebrate the significant achievements of the real estate industry within the ACT.

“This year, our Awards for Excellence have showcased the adaption, innovation and education the real estate sector has had to undertake to meet the challenges that COVID-19 created for our members,” REIACT president Michael Kumm said.

“As late as June this year, the institute was still unsure as to whether the awards would even go ahead, but tonight we were able to present 21 awards in front of 170 guests, at an event limited to only nominees for the first time in 26 years of our awards history.”

REI Super are proud longstanding sponsors of REIACT, and the REIACT Awards for Excellence. As one of Australia’s longest standing industry super funds, built by, and for the real estate industry, REI Super values the strength and achievements of our industry.

We all know the real estate industry is a competitive business, and in what has been a challenging year, we want to congratulate all the winners and finalists of this year’s Awards.

The REIACT Awards for Excellence event was held at QT Canberra with limited capacity due to COVID restrictions on Saturday, 21 November 2020.
